Liver with Brandy Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. calf liver
  • 8 ozs. mushrooms
  • 2 ozs. butter
  • 8 ozs. rice
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt & pepper

How to Make Liver with Brandy:

  1. Cook the rice and keep warm. Melt 1/2 oz. butter and saute quartered tomatoes gently. Add sliced mushrooms. Set aside.
  2. Using the rest of butter, fry thin liver slices after sprinkling with salt, pepper, and garlic.
  3. Place liver on top of rice, pour warmed brandy over liver and serve immediately. Garnish with tomates and mushrooms.
