Liver with Brandy Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. calf liver
- 8 ozs. mushrooms
- 2 ozs. butter
- 8 ozs. rice
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tbsp brandy
- 1 clove garlic
- salt & pepper
How to Make Liver with Brandy:
- Cook the rice and keep warm. Melt 1/2 oz. butter and saute quartered tomatoes gently. Add sliced mushrooms. Set aside.
- Using the rest of butter, fry thin liver slices after sprinkling with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Place liver on top of rice, pour warmed brandy over liver and serve immediately. Garnish with tomates and mushrooms.
