- 1 cup flour
- 2 ozs margarine or butter
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 cups chipped or shredded ripe mango
- Â½ cup crushed corn flakes or breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Put shredded mango in covered vessel and place in refrigerator, chill
Rub fat into flour, stir in the brown sugar
Sprinkle this mixture into a well-greased pie pan, press firmly into the shape of the pan. Chill.
Mix corn flakes with the sugar
Turn oven to 400ÂºC and take pie pan from refrigerator
Arrange the mango evenly over the top pf the flour mixture. Cover with the crum mixture
Bake 20 – 30 minutes or until brown. Cool slightly after it is removed from the oven, then cut into serving portions in the pan. Remove when cold.
