Preheat oven to 350. Break egg yolks in mixing bowl. With a fork, stir in vanilla and lemon peeling. Sprinkle flour over egg yolk. In another bowl beat egg whites with pinch of salt until they cling to beater. Add sugar and beat until stiff. Fold into egg yolk mixture and bake in well-greased baking pan for about 12 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.

Beat the egg yolks with the lime rind adding the sugar gradually until well mixed. Remove lime rind and set egg mixture aside. Put milk in saucepan with vanilla, cinnamon and grated nutmeg and bring to a boil over heat. Pour boiling milk over egg mixture stirring all the time to prevent egg hardening.
